adBrain delivers AI systems into your own infrastructure and hands you the source code. This is the canonical page for how we deploy, how we secure, and, most importantly, the ownership and licensing model that keeps you free of vendor lock-in. It separates two questions that enterprise buyers care about but vendors often blur: where the system runs and what rights you have over it.

Two decisions, made clear

We present the model as flexibility with clarity: pick where it runs, and pick what rights you need. The two are independent.

1. Where it runs: the deployment model

OptionBest for
CloudManaged speed and standard operations: your own AWS, Azure, or GCP account, set up and managed by us, ownership retained by you.
On-PremisesResidency, governance, latency, or security constraints: runs entirely in your data centre, and data never leaves your network.
HybridCore data on-premises, cloud scaling for compute-heavy AI work.

2. What rights you have: the licence

LicenceWhat it grants
User licenceThe right to use and operate the platform and its code within agreed boundaries: run it, configure it, and depend on it independently of adBrain.
Development licenceEverything in the user licence, plus deeper rights to modify, extend, and integrate the code for your own use.

Both licences follow one principle: you get the source code with the free right to modify it for your own use, without the right to sublicense it to third parties. The user/development distinction is about how deeply you intend to change the code, not about whether you can see it. You always can.

Commercial terms. The specific scope, boundaries, and pricing of each licence are agreed per engagement. This page describes the model; the binding terms live in your contract.

Security built in from day one

We build the governance layer first, not as an afterthought:

  • Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC). Fine-grained policies decide who can see which data and what agents are allowed to do, by role, team, department, and attribute.
  • Single Sign-On. Microsoft Entra, Okta, Google, Auth0, Keycloak, or any SAML/OIDC provider, with automatic role synchronisation.
  • Document-level permissions. Source-system restrictions are mirrored and enforced.
  • Immutable audit logging. Every action is timestamped and retained for compliance.
  • Cost governance. Per-user and per-team token budgets, dashboards, and exportable usage statistics.
  • Encryption & resilience. SSL/TLS in transit and at rest, Docker-based microservices, Kubernetes/Helm for scale, and automated backups with disaster recovery.

Why ownership beats a subscription

Most AI is sold as a hosted subscription: your data leaves your control, and the vendor owns the system you depend on. adBrain’s model is the opposite.

The result: no black box, no lock-in, no hostage roadmap. If our relationship ever ends, your AI keeps running and your team can keep changing it.

Open foundations, and room to grow

We build on open-source cores with large, active communities, and we are not tied to any single one. Our enterprise platform is the strongest starting point today, but as new AI frameworks and repositories mature, we integrate them into the same deploy-in-your-environment, owned-by-you model.
